Ramsgate Twinning Association.

A visit to Ramsgate's twin town of Frederikssund in Denmark was made by Councillor Ken Gregory, Mayor of Ramsgate, Councillor Steve Ward, Deputy Mayor, Russell Hards, Chairman of the Twinning Association and Jennifer Marshall on the weekend of 24-26 October 2003.
The visit was made at the invitation of Knud Christoffersen, Borgmester of Frederikssund to regenerate contacts between our two towns. Our delegation was warmly received and spent two memorable and enjoyable days in the company of the Borgmester, Mrs Christoffersen and Councillors Marten Skorgaard and Sefan Rosmuisen, visiting various places of interest in Frederikssund.
Gifts were exchanged and a commitment for closer relations was made by both parties.
A detailed report on the visit appears in Twinning Topics No 13.

During the visit among other places of interest, we visited an art and design school. You may be interested to visit their WEB page at www.kunsthojskolen.dk where it is possible to book courses.
Below are some of the pictures taken on the visit, which was informative and highly enjoyable.
